People who grow up in the hood are not set up to gain much in life, the role models are scarce and the opportunities to get into trouble are plenty. With certain neighborhoods being deemed as No Safe Zone you learn street survival skills, and from there many are taught and influenced to tap into their hustle skills in a way that looks like a come up in poverty stricken communities but it’s actually a set back in our purpose. 

After life experiences and decisions that set our founder back, he took the skills taught to him in streets and a created a product that not only spoke to his past but also the realization that it wasn’t safe to play small, it wasn’t safe to not walk in your purpose, it wasn’t safe to hold on to bad habits and decisions that didn’t serve his greatness as a leader.
